I see no point in carrying on like this
because I lack the motivation,
because I was taught to kill
and not to kiss,
every case is a Jane Doe,
a stranger to my heart,
but a well known acquaintance
of my mind.
Please God,
exorcise this continuous feeling
of harming myself.
Lets bygones be bygones,
for I have died too many times,
for I have shattered hopes…
I’m the thief of my own happiness.
I used dreamcatchers
for the wrong purposes…
always a dream chaser,
always someone else’s…
tonight any dream will do.

I chased shadows,
to cool the warmth
I was surrounded in.
The things you live for,
will represent your doom,
you bow to them,
you cherish them,
you take them in your heart,
you pray to them,
and they’re the last things
you will see,
you have your faith,
yet you look both ways
when you cross the street…
death is just around the corner
