Willendorf Venus

My man showed me the stone he’d carved,
said it was me. It had my curls
but was not like the women I know.

I have big breasts, fed my ten children,
but these boobs were enormous,
also the hips and stomach
and the labia,
curved as my lips.

If I could carve a stone I’d make a man.
He would be tall and strong
just like my man.

I’d give him hands and arms for bow and arrows
to kill the wild black boar and the red deer,
and make him a big penis, long as his arms,
to give me ten more children.

Venus din Willendorf

Barbatul meu mi-a aratat piatra pe care o cioplise,
mi-a zis ca sunt eu. Avea buclele mele,
dar era diferita de femeile pe care le cunosc.

Am sani mari, mi-am alaptat cei zece copii,
dar tatele astea erau enorme,
cum erau si soldurile si burta
la fel si labiile
arcuite ca buzele mele.

Daca as sti sa cioplesc in piatra, as face un barbat
Care ar fi inalt si vanjos,
Ca omul meu.

I-as face maini si brate puternice sa traga cu arcul
sa ucida mistretul negru si caprioara cea roscata
si i-as pune un penis mare, lung cat ii e bratul
ca sa-mi mai daruiasca inca zece copii.
